Now Entering Our 5th Year of Shows and Classes!

We’re turning 5-years-old this month. And like a five-year-old, we’re ready to teach more improv classes and throw down the best comedy parties we can every Friday night. What? Five-year-olds don’t do those things? Well shush, and just come have a good time, okay?

Last month we had sketch, this month, we’ll have improv. Kinsey Fail is Toronto’s, nay, the world’s premiere all-LGBTQ+ improv ensemble. They’ve performed all over the city and feature members who have performed on Second City Mainstage, Second City House Co., JFL42, She The People and Bad Dog Theatre. It’s so stacked. It’s so gay. And it will be so epic too!

Alongside the Green Party of Ontario, Mike led the charge against Nestle to halt their infamous water packaging expansion. FRI. NOV. 30 - M-B COMEDY #159: THE MAKING-BOX V.S. THE DEBAJEHMUJIG CREATION CENTRE

A few months ago, we were called to Manitoulin Island to teach a new group of students from Debajehmujig Theatre Group, which is the first - and remains the only - professional theatre company located on a Reserve in Canada. Out of our workshops, The Enormously Small Improv Group was born. We were blown away by how incredible they were. So blown away in fact, we had no choice but to invite them down to Guelph for our next high-intensity improv brawl. Who’s going to take the improv crown? We need your help to decide.

BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE!

A new semester of improv starts this month, and Level One is filling up fast. People of all kinds are flocking to improv to help them gain confidence in public speaking, meet new people, learn to listen better, or just to have the best time. Whatever your reason, we’d love to have you. Don’t hesitate, celebrate!
