1 PART CELEBRATION OF GUELPH
1 PART IMPROV COMEDY SHOW

Guelph is overflowing with spectacular human beings. ROYAL CITY HEROES showcases our favourite Guelphites, highlighting the greatness they bring to our hometown and creating improv comedy inspired by them. A social activist, a live band, a painter, an interview with a politician, a unique show every month.

Our ROYAL CITY HEROS this month: KATIE EWALD & BRY WEBB
One of Guelph's mightiest power couples.

Individually they are:
Katie Ewald is a Guelph based dancer and teacher. She was part of the creation and performance of the Dora Mavor Moore Award winning "What We are Saying". She is the curator and producer of Short & Sweet Guelph Edition (of Wants & Needs Dance) during Guelph’s preeminent Kazoo! Fest.

Bry Webb is best known as the singer and principal songwriter Canadian rock band, The Constantines. During the band’s four-year hiatus, Webb became a father, and wrote his first album, "Provider". Not only that, he's the Operations Coordinator at CFRU 93.3 FM.

With support from The Making-Box Brigade and musical genius Chris New on the keys!

Come celebrate Guelph with us. Come laugh together.
High-fives to Royal City Brewing Company for support in this project!

These shows almost always sell out in advance. Don't hesitate, celebrate! Seating is limited.  First come first serve, then it's standing room only.

When: Friday, Oct 28th (Doors at 9:00PM / Show at 9:30PM)
Where: The Making-Box Comedy Theatre (40 Baker St. Upstairs, Accessible and Gender Neutral)
